How These Architectural CAD Projects Are Built
The architectural CAD projects shown here follow drawing-office discipline that survives handover: sheets are set up to AS 1100 conventions with consistent title blocks and revision control, layers follow a published standard rather than personal habit, and xref structures are kept clean so consultant drawings drop in without exploding the file. Coordination samples show clash markups resolved on the drawing, not just flagged; MEP sheets keep services legible over an architectural underlay screened to the right weight; and conversion work is manually vectorised, so text is text and walls are polylines — not the traced spaghetti automated converters produce. Deliverables are native DWG plus PDF as standard, with IFC available where a BIM workflow sits downstream.
