Mechanical Components

Streamline your design process with our efficient CAD drafting services.

We provide 3D CAD models from existing mechanical components

Why does one need 3D CAD Modelling of Mechanical Components?

The service required our customers to have existing parts but no 3D CAD models for their items. It results in requiring 3D CAD models of mechanical components. We can create 3d components library for brochures, catalogues or manufacturing. We are creating three-dimensional images that come with actual physical objects. We supply customer’s as well as native CAD versions.

3D CAD modeling of mechanical components serves several important purposes:

  1. Visualization: CAD models provide a realistic and detailed representation of mechanical components, allowing designers and engineers to visualize how the parts will look and function in the final product.
  2. Design Iteration: CAD software enables designers to easily make modifications and iterations to their designs without having to create physical prototypes each time. This iterative process helps refine the design and improve its functionality and performance.
  3. Dimensional Accuracy: CAD modeling ensures precise dimensional accuracy of mechanical components, which is crucial for ensuring proper fit, function, and assembly within the overall system or product.
  4. Analysis and Simulation: CAD models can be used for various types of analysis and simulation, such as stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid flow simulation. These analyses help engineers evaluate the performance and durability of the components under different operating conditions.
  5. Manufacturing Compatibility: CAD models can be used to generate manufacturing drawings and specifications, including tolerances, surface finishes, and material specifications. This information ensures that the components can be accurately manufactured using various manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, or 3D printing.
  6. Documentation and Communication: CAD models serve as a comprehensive source of documentation for the design, allowing engineers to communicate their ideas effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and manufacturers.

Our customers do not have any information about the existing parts or components. Therefore, we offer an appropriate solution for reverse engineering parts of components. We support our clients with mechanical design and product development.

The 3D CAD Models used for

Many engineers make mistakes trying to add all the information about each part in an assembly drawing. To prevent this, remember the purpose of these engineering drawings during the process of creation. They make the assembling easy.

Exploded views, numbered parts, section views, general dimensions, cutouts, and detail views (or close-ups) are all tools one uses to achieve this goal. It is clear where each part goes and is attached, whether it needs welding, bolted connections, riveting, or other things. The bill of materials helps you make sure the information it’s available regarding part numbers, names and different quantities.

Considering everything above, we’ll help create assembly drawings that make life easier on the shop floor. Once received a piece of great advice goes like this – keep thinking in the drawing room. Avoid multiple interpretation possibilities at later steps that significantly decrease the number of errors.

How does the process work?

We either use supply 2D drawings or measure supplied components to create the 3D CAD models.

What do we supply?

From the new 3D CAD models, we:

Offer 3D CAD models in Solidworks, STEP or IGES format

Help to create new Manufacturing drawings

Create flat patterns

Create Renderings

How much does it cost?

We give fixed prices for a job, and our pricing will be based on the quantity and complexity of the parts. With large quantities, we establish mean complexity or complexity groups to which we agree on a price. We usually can quote from images sent via email.
